WHO IS YOUR HOST?
My name is Tinuke Fawole. I am an Attorney, Author, Relationship Strategist and International Speaker with a TEDx talk that has garnered over 47,000 views to date.
I have been happily married to my college sweetheart, Alaba for 38 years and our union is blessed with wonderful children and grandchildren.
My husband and I went through the turbulent stages of adolescence with our children and that was coupled with the fact that our children were being raised in a culture different from the one we grew up in. They also had their own difficulties which we were completely unaware of most of the time. We struggled in some areas and, looking back, I wish there were workshops like this that could have helped us navigate the challenges we faced.
The situation became magnified when, as a criminal law and child welfare law attorney, working over 20 years with parents and children in the criminal justice system, I saw how children transitioned from being chubby, lovable toddlers, to disobedient preteens, and eventually to delinquent teenagers in the court system.
I feel uniquely called to foster positive relationships within families and organizations and have helped families overturn their children’s defiant behaviors and avoid getting into trouble with the law. I have been especially successful in restoring healthy and loving relationships between parents and their struggling children.
I am the host of the YouTube channel, Optimum Families and the author of The Immigration Gap and Master of My Destiny.
I am actively involved in my church and community and I do speaking, workshops, and seminars for various organizations.
I enjoy traveling and spending time with my family and I live in Snellville, Georgia.
